Instruction is straightforward and can occur at any stage of a matter. All instructions are handled confidentially and on a case-specific basis.

We offer a complimentary, confidential 30-minute initial consultation to discuss your requirements and assess whether our expertise is suited to the matter.

We begin with a brief discussion to understand the context of the case, the specific causation questions in issue, and the stage at which scientific input is required.

This allows us to confirm scope, relevance, and whether our involvement will add value.

Once scope is agreed, we provide a clear proposal setting out the work to be undertaken, timescales, and fees. Instructions are then accepted in writing, and analysis proceeds based on the materials provided.

Our outputs are tailored to the needs of the case and may take the form of a written scientific evidence review, advisory note, or structured analysis designed to support expert evidence, litigation strategy, or decision-making under scrutiny.

We work independently and to agreed timelines, and are happy to liaise directly with instructing solicitors, expert witnesses, or claims teams as appropriate.

All instructions are treated as strictly confidential. We do not disclose the existence or content of instructions without express permission. 

Fees are agreed in advance and are based on the scope, complexity, and timeframe of the instruction.

Each matter is assessed individually and we provide a clear fee estimate once the scope of work has been agreed.
